Press Release: The Daily Record Names impactHR’s Kelly Mitchell One of “Maryland’s Top 100 Women for 2019”

March 19, 2019, Columbia, MDimpactHR, LLC, a full-service human resources management and consulting firm, today announced Kelly Mitchell, Founder and Principal with impactHR, has been named one of “Maryland’s Top 100 Women” by The Daily Record.

The Daily Record began Maryland’s Top 100 Women in 1996 to recognize outstanding achievements by women demonstrated through professional accomplishments, community leadership and mentoring. Nominees were asked to complete an application outlining their educational and career history, professional and community involvement, corporate and nonprofit board memberships and mentoring experience. They were encouraged to submit letters of recommendation from those who are familiar with their accomplishments professionally, in the community and through mentoring.

A panel of business professionals and previous Maryland’s Top 100 Women honorees from throughout the state reviewed the final applications and selected this year’s honorees.

“Our Maryland’s Top 100 Women honorees have achieved amazing accomplishments in their careers. In addition, they are exemplary citizens, committed to the community and growing the next generation of leaders through mentoring,” said Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, publisher of The Daily Record. “They use their success to lift up others, create change and break barriers. The Daily Record is pleased to honor them.”

The Maryland’s Top 100 Women awards celebration will be held April 15 starting with a reception at 5:00pm at Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall in Baltimore.

“I’m very grateful to be selected to The Daily Record’s 2019 listing of Maryland’s Top 100 Women,” said Mitchell. “I’m also sincerely appreciative of all those who have supported me through the years, including my family and so many of my company’s clients, partners, friends and my team. It’s truly an honor to be included among this distinguished group of women leaders who do so much for our state and our communities.”
