August 20, 2019, Columbia, MD – impactHR, LLC, a full-service human resources management and consulting firm, today announced the hiring of Bonnie Monroe, an experienced HR professional, as Senior Consultant, Client Services.
Monroe has more than 15 years of experience in strategic and operational HR ranging from high-level strategic planning to front-line HR operations. Her HR professional experience includes organizational development, business development, talent management, skills training, strategic planning, conflict resolution, benefit and wellness programs. She specializes in coaching and consulting leadership, and management that supports on-going development programs that align people, process, and systems optimally to advance efficiency, engagement, and profitability.
Monroe previously has worked in a range of industries, including technology, environmental services, health care, international non-profit, corporate wellness and higher education. Over the course of her career, she has held numerous HR strategic and operational business roles with a focus on building resilient corporate cultures. She has also focused on building strong value propositions for companies in mergers and acquisitions mode, as well as for startups, high-growth companies, private equity firms and publicly traded companies.
Most recently, Monroe was Corporate Human Resources Director with GSE Systems in Columbia, MD where she directed all aspects of corporate HR and M&A strategy via optimizing HR integration and synergies. She also was an Interim CHRO for Synagro in White Marsh, MD; Vice President of Human Resources and COO for Well Advantage in Sykesville, MD; and VP of Human Resources & Organizational Development with Cultural Vistas in Columbia, MD.
Monroe, who earned a BA with the University of Baltimore, is certified as a Society for Human Resource Management – Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and serves as an Adjunct Instructor at Howard Community College. She also serves as a Workforce Readiness Volunteer with SHRM-Howard County, MD.
