Terry Marschall founded impactHR, LLC, with a focus on providing clients with the most effective employee management and workplace strategies. Ms. Marschall is a successful executive leader with over 25 years of hands-on experience in guiding people to create direction and vision, build effective teams, focus on customer needs and practice sound business management.
Ms. Marschall’s experience includes numerous corporate and regional positions with top companies such as Target Corporation, Woodward & Lothrop/John Wanamaker, Mervyns and the May Company. Within these companies, she has held positions such as Divisional Vice President, Regional Merchandise Manager, Human Resources Manager, Store Director and Senior Buyer. She has had direct responsibility for budgets of more than $80M annually and for teams with more than 400 employees.
Ms. Marschall is a certified Lominger Associate for Career Architect®, Team Architect®, Cultribute® and Recruiting Architect®, and a certified Train the Trainer in Managing Workplace Conflict from the Mediation Training Institute. Ms. Marschall is qualified to administer the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and the Thomas Kilmann Conflict Mode Indicator (TKI).
Ms. Marschall is an active community leader, involved with Habitat for Humanity, Special Olympics, Families Adopting Children Everywhere and Friends of Foster Care. She is a member of the Maryland Chamber of Commerce, Howard County Human Resources, Human Resource Association of the National Capital Area, the Society for Human Resource Management and the American Society for Training and Development.
Ms. Marschall holds a bachelors degree in Business Administration and a degree in Fashion/Textile Design. She has completed postgraduate studies at Kennedy Western University in Human Resources. Ms. Marschall is also certified as a Senior Human Resources Professional (SPHR) by the national Human Resources Certification Institute.
