Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) issues 1000 notices of audits
Recently, ICE announced that 1000 new workplace audits will be conducted to hold employers accountable for their hiring practices, primarily to determine compliance with employment eligibility verification laws. The focus will be on audits of Form I-9s which employers are required to complete and retain for each employee hired.
