Kelly Mitchell, SPHR, Principal
Kelly Mitchell is a Principal Consultant and founding partner of impactHR, LLC. Ms. Mitchell has been a human resources professional for over 15 years. She enables her clients to focus on the financial growth of their businesses through her strong ability to listen, assess and develop customized solutions for effective employment management and workplace strategies. 

Ms. Mitchell held several senior corporate HR management positions for start-up and fast-growth companies such as Primestar Partners (later DirecTV), Analytical Graphics, Inc., and Phoenix Technologies. As a consultant, Ms. Mitchell has successfully worked with companies in the nonprofit, healthcare, utilities, technology, service, pharmaceutical and financial industries. She has worked with a range of clients, from start-up organizations with less than 20 employees to large established organizations with over 1,000 employees. 

Ms. Mitchell holds a bachelor of science degree in Psychology from Towson University and a master of science degree in Human Resources Management from Widener University.  She is also certified as a Senior Human Resources Professional (SPHR) by the national Human .Resources Certification Institute. She is qualified to administer the Myers Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI), Strong Interest Inventory™ and Fundamental Interpersonal Relations Orientation-Behavior™ (FIRO-B®).  Ms. Mitchell is also trained as a trainer for the Lominger Leadership Architect Series of tools.

Ms. Mitchell is an active member of numerous professional organizations, including the Maryland State Chamber of Commerce, the National Association of Female Executives and the Society for Human Resources Management. Ms. Mitchell also serves on the board of the Chesapeake Human Resources Association.
